Overview
| As someone who has only recently been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, you are probably bewildered by the information you have been given about your condition and its management. You may have forgotten most of what your doctor has told you, or not understood all the details. Perhaps you feel apprehensive and even scared about what will happen in the coming weeks and months. No doubt you have a thousand questions that you want to ask, and perhaps feel unsure to whom you should go for help. The most important thing at this stage is to take things one step at a time and not burden yourself with worry. Use these pages to find out more about non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, how it can be treated, and what you can do to help prepare for visits to the clinic, as well as how to deal with the disease on a day-to-day basis. You can also order our Living with Lymphoma - Patient kit – a series of printed materials and CD that will help you understand your disease and what to expect in the coming months. At the bottom of each page, you will find links to pages within the Lymphoma-net.org website that have more information on the topics discussed. |
